Georgian and Iranian citizens have been allowed to fly to Azerbaijan

Citizens of Georgia and the Islamic Republic of Iran and citizens of other countries permanently residing in those countries, as well as stateless persons are allowed to enter and leave the Republic of Azerbaijan, reads the amendment to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision on measures to extend the special quarantine regime and remove some restrictions, APA reports.

Citizens of this country are allowed to enter and leave the Republic of Azerbaijan taking into account the following requirements:

- for persons over 18 years of age - only COVID-19 passport (a document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to COVID-19) and a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours before the flight;;

- in the case of persons between the ages of 1 and 18 - only on the basis of a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19 issued within 72 hours before the flight;

When leaving the Republic of Azerbaijan, they are not required to undergo a PCR test for COVID-19.
