A relocation convoy has reached Sarijali village in the Aghdam district today, APA reports.
During this phase, 39 families, comprising 169 individuals, have received keys to newly built private homes.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan for the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, as well as officials from the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Currently, nearly 40,000 people reside in Garabagh and Eastern Zangezur, including former IDPs (internally displaced persons), employees working on regional development projects, and personnel serving in local branches of state institutions, as well as those employed in the recently revived healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy sectors.
