The delegation led by Zakir Farajov, Head of Sumgayit City Executive Power, is on a working trip to the city of Linz, Austria, the Executive Power told APA.
The main purpose of the trip is to develop the cooperation relations between Linz, Austria’s leading industrial center, and Sumgayit city, which have existed since 2009, and to become acquainted with local industrial enterprises.
During the visit, Zakir Farajov held meetings with Dietmar Prammer, Mayor of Linz, and representatives of companies operating in the city.
The meetings emphasized that there are extensive opportunities for future cooperation between the industrial cities of Sumgayit and Linz, and a detailed exchange of views was held regarding the possible areas for realizing these opportunities.
