Flight attendants of the AZAL passenger plane that crashed during the Baku-Grozny flight on December 2024 will be presented with the award "For Services to the Chechen Republic", announced head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
"I have decided to award the surviving crew members of the Embraer E190 passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines,,which crashed during the Baku-Grozny flight in December last year. Flight attendants Zulfugar Asadov and Aydan Rahimli, who demonstrated exceptional courage and high professionalism, have been nominated for the award "For Services to the Chechen Republic".
A memorial plaque will be installed in Grozny in memory of the victims of the plane crash," he wrote.
He noted that the flight attendants acted quickly and decisively, trying to help everyone on board.
