Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin visits Sabail District Fire Department of the State Fire Protection Service under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA reports citing the Ministry.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov briefed the guest on the working conditions created for the personnel and the exhibition dedicated to the “Emergencies Through the Eyes of Children” creative competition.
Later, newly acquired special firefighting vehicles were presented to Prime Minister Turchin.
Heydarov emphasized that thanks to President Ilham Aliyev’s attention and care, the Ministry’s technical resources are continuously upgraded. He highlighted the close cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, noting that last November, during the COP29 climate conference, firefighting equipment jointly assembled at the Ganja Automobile Plant for Azerbaijan’s Ministry was delivered, meeting the needs of the Emergency Ministry and ensuring fire safety during the event.
