The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) continues to take necessary measures to raise public awareness about fire safety rules, which is one of the main directions in ensuring fire safety in the country, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
It was stated that employees of the Ganja Regional State Fire Control Department of the Service organized an awareness-raising event on fire safety in connection with preparations for the 3rd CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan. The event, held at the Ganja Sports Palace, was attended by the staff of the Ganja city stadium and the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex.
At the event, detailed information was provided about the basic necessary behavior rules in case of possible fires, and the importance of proper use of the evacuation plan was emphasized. It was also stressed that keeping the areas clean, maintaining fire water supply systems in working condition, ensuring free movement in emergency exits at all times, and equipping with primary fire extinguishing means are essential.
The rules for using primary fire extinguishing tools were visually demonstrated at the event, and questions were answered.
