"Today, we exchanged views with the Indian Foreign Minister on the regional situation in the South Caucasus, post-conflict normalization between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the agreements reached in Washington," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference with Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, APA reports.
"We discussed goods sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia and mutual visits. Our expectations from Armenia for the completion of this process were also brought to my counterpart's attention. I informed my counterpart about the restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in the liberated territories. Naturally, I also provided information about the ongoing mine threat," the Minister noted.
According to the Minister, views were exchanged on developments in a broader geographical area, including the Middle East, the Russia-Ukraine war, and other issues.
The Foreign Minister added that he highly appreciates the visit of the Indian Foreign Minister: "The discussions held today will serve to elevate relations between the two countries to a higher level."
