An event was held at Nizami Ganjavi School No. 4 in Khankandi by the Garabagh Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with March 1 — World Civil Defense Day, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.
The main purpose of the event was to draw public attention to protection from emergencies and the organization of civil defense, as well as to discuss the current situation and future tasks in this field.
The event participants observed a minute of silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and those who were martyred for Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity.
