Azerbaijan’s Aghdam hosts meeting of Working Group on Environmental Issues -PHOTO -UPDATED

The meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues held in Aghdam has ended, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.

The members of the Working Group got acquainted with the construction and demolition waste recycling facility created in the village of Kangarli, Aghdam district. The guests were informed that a recycling facility is operating in the Aghdam district due to the increase in the volume of construction and demolition waste as a result of solid household waste management, restoration, and reconstruction works in the liberated territories. It was reported that up to 30 thousand tons of construction materials have been produced so far. The produced material will be used in the construction of internal roads of the villages and other projects. This technology is also used in other liberated settlements to recycle construction-demolition materials.

The next meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues is being held, APA reports.

The meeting is being held in Azerbaijan’s liberated Aghdam city.

Emin Huseynov, special representative of the Azerbaijani President in the liberated territories (except Shusha) included in the Garabagh administrative region,the head of the Working Group on Environmental Issues, and Deputy Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, employees of various state institutions and the staff of the working group are participating if’s being held in Aghdam Conference Center.
