The concept of "Azerbaijani sign language" is being incorporated into legislation, this was reflected in the proposed amendments to the "Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities," discussed today at the meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
According to the draft, Azerbaijani sign language is the expression of thoughts by Azerbaijani-speaking individuals with complete hearing impairment, using their arms, hands, and fingers simultaneously.
