On September 1, a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev, paid a working visit to Ankara city of the brotherly Republic of Türkiye, to participate in the “Opening Ceremony of the New Judicial Year 2025–2026,” the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
The delegation first visited the park in Ankara named after National Leader Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath at his monument.
At the official ceremony, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Ömer Kerkez, Prosecutor General Muhsin Şentürk, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, as well as numerous judges and prosecutors, were in attendance.
Within the framework of the visit, Kamran Aliyev held meetings with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Türkiye, Muhsin Şentürk, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Ömer Kerkez, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, and other foreign counterparts.
During the meetings, productive discussions were held on strengthening legal cooperation, expanding the exchange of experience, as well as on other matters of mutual interest.
