The delegation led by Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev, participating in the UNESCO "Global Ministerial Dialogue on Science Diplomacy," met with Lidia Brito, Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences at UNESCO, on March 25, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.
During the meeting, the implementation of joint projects in the field of natural sciences and opportunities for expanding institutional partnerships were discussed.
Additionally, taking into account the inclusion of student climate literacy indicators in Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) according to the agreement reached between the Ministry of Science and Education and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) within the framework of COP29, possible cooperation opportunities in this area were discussed.
Furthermore, the perspectives for developing international experience exchange in the STEAM project were evaluated.
The delegation later met with Azzedine El Midaoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation of the Kingdom of Morocco. During the meeting, current cooperation and future development prospects in the fields of science and higher education between the two countries were discussed.
