The Azerbaijani government will cover tuition fees for students residing in liberated territories who enroll in public, municipal, and private vocational education institutions during the 2025/2026, 2026/2027, and 2027/2028 academic years, as well as of those who are receiving paid education in these educational institutions, this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law on Education, which was discussed at today's meeting of Milli Majlis (Parliament), APA reports.
An amendment of an adaptive nature has also been proposed to the Law on Vocational Education.
If passed, the law will come into force on September 15, 2025.
The bill was put to a vote and passed on first reading.
