On June 5, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko, and the heads of diplomatic missions of Russia accredited in European countries, Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
During the meeting, political, economic, trade, humanitarian, etc. aspects of Azerbaijani-Russian relations, regional and international security issues of mutual interest, and the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of the role of intensive mutual visits and contacts in the development of Azerbaijani-Russian relations.
The participants of the meeting thanked for the reception and asked questions of interest to them regarding the foreign policy of Azerbaijan.
