Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the peaceful protest action in the city of Shusha - on the Lachin-Khankandi road, against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Gizilbulag gold and Damirli copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, APA's correspondent assigned to Shusha reports.
Despite the chilly weather, eco-activists, members of civil society, and volunteers waving placards and chanting slogans in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English without hindering traffic on the road.
They are chanting slogans like “Берегите природу!”, "Экоциду нет! Мониторингу да!", “Stop eco-terror!”.
