New fines are being imposed for the operation of a model unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) club or association without the relevant permission, this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Administrative Offences Code discussed at today’s meeting of the Committee for Law Policy and State-Building of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.
According to the draft law, for this administrative offence, individuals will be fined AZN 3,000, officials will be fined AZN 5,000, and legal entities will be fined AZN 8,000.
At the same time, according to the draft law, for the operation of civil unmanned aerial vehicle systems in controlled airspace and near aerodrome areas without the permission of the center established by the body (entity) which the relevant executive authority determined, individuals will be fined AZN 3,000, officials will be fined AZN 7,000, and legal entities will be fined AZN 15,000.
For failure to immediately comply with the instructions issued by the center established by the body (entity) which the relevant executive authority determined regarding the suspension or modification of the operation by the remotely operating pilot (operator), individuals will be fined 4,000 manat, officials will be fined 7,000 manat, and legal entities will be fined 17,000 manat.
