Azerbaijan to apply new fines for violating aviation regulations

New fines are being proposed for violations in the aviation sector, APA reports. 

This is reflected the proposed amendment to the Administrative Offenses Code, discussed at today's meeting of the Law Policy and State Building Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).

According to the draft law, individuals will be fined 3,000 AZN, officials 5,000 AZN, and legal entities 10,000 AZN for operating flights on regular and non-regular (charter) routes without permission.

Individuals will be fined 4,000 AZN, officials 8,000 AZN, and legal entities 20,000 AZN for conducting tests and simulating accident conditions that do not comply with operational requirements during commercial flights. At the same time, according to the draft law, individuals will be fined 4,000 AZN, officials 8,000 AZN, and legal entities 20,000 AZN for simulating failures of systems, engines, and equipment during flights, with the exception of training and test flights.
