By the end of the reporting year, the relocation of 10,233 people from 2,615 families to the districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli, Jabrail, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar, Shusha, Aghdara, Khojaly, and Khojavand, which are located in 63 cities and districts of the republic, has been ensured, this is reflected in the report of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2024, APA reports.
It was noted that works on the provision of electricity, gas, and heating supply, the construction of road infrastructure, educational, healthcare, sports, and cultural facilities, as well as the construction of cities, towns, and villages, were carried out, and the resettlement of the population was ensured gradually. By the end of the reporting year, the relocation of 10,233 people from 2,615 families to the districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli, Jabrail, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar, Shusha, Aghdara, Khojali, and Khojavand, which are located in 63 cities and districts of the republic, has been ensured.
In 2024, a total of 1,429 families (5,542 people) were relocated, including 163 families (536 people) to the city of Lachin in the Eastern Zangazur economic region, 14 families (40 people) to the Zabukh village of Lachin district, 59 families (215 people) to the Sus village of Lachin district, 287 families (1,169 people) to the city of Jabrail, 443 families (1,744 people) to the city of Fuzuli in the Karabakh economic region, 369 families (1,388 people) to the city of Shusha, 46 families (179 people) to the city of Khojali, and 48 families (271 people) to the Ballija village of Khojali district.
