A strategy should be developed for the restoration of kahrizes in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, said Nargiz Garajayeva, senior advisor to the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan regions, member of the working group on environmental issues, at a meeting of the working group, APA's correspondent dispatched to Zangilan.
"The restoration of kahrizes is important for the sustainable livelihood of the population in the liberated territories. In 2024, 5 kahrizes were restored in the liberated Horovlu village. However, the most abundant kahrizes, "Bash kahriz", has not yet been restored."
