Azerbaijan relocates 98 more residents to Khojaly’s Ballija village -UPDATED

Under the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has continued its resettlement program in the liberated territories, APA reports.

On Friday, 24 families, comprising 98 individuals, were relocated to the village of Ballija in Khojaly district.

The keys to the apartments were presented to the families who moved to the Ballija village of Khojaly.

Today, within the framework of the "Great Return" program, 24 families, consisting of 98 individuals, made the next relocation to Ballija village in Khojaly district.

Former internally displaced persons were welcomed by the staff of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the cities of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts. The keys to the apartments were handed over to them in the presence of representatives from the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and the media.

To date, a total of 136 families, or 660 individuals, have been relocated to Ballija village of Khojaly.

Under President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, Great Return to liberated territories continues, APA reports.

Families relocated to Ballija previously lived in various regions, mostly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

During this phase, 24 families (98 people) moved to village. Residents express gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, and Azerbaijani Army for liberation efforts. They also honor memory of fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives.
