A new group of families has arrived in Sugovushan village, Aghdara district, where they were presented with the keys to their new homes, APA's local bureau reports.
A total of 53 families, comprising 174 individuals, have now been reunited with their homeland.
The key handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Office of the Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President in the city of Khankendi, and Aghdara and Khojaly districts, and the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Today, another relocation convoy was sent to the village of Sugovushan in the Aghdara district.
The families resettling in Sugovushan village in Aghdara are families who had been temporarily housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across various parts of the country.
In this phase, 53 families (174 individuals) have been relocated to the village. The returning residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state support provided. They also conveyed their appreciation to the brave Azerbaijani Army that liberated their lands, honored martyrs who sacrificed their lives, and paid tribute to heroic soldiers and officers.
Note that currently, in addition to the internally displaced persons relocated to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, approximately 40,000 people live in this region, including those working on ongoing projects, employees of local branches of various state institutions, as well as those working in healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy facilities that have resumed operations.
