Azerbaijan establishes new specialties within framework of COP 29 for the first time

For the first time in Azerbaijan, new specialties are established in the Vocational Education system within the COP 29 year, Director of the Vocational Education Center of Economic Zones Development Agency of Azerbaijan Kanan Bagirov said at the Graduation Day held at the Center on June 24, APA-Economics reports.

“Within the framework of COP29, which will be held in our country, a new specialty (Operation of alternative energy installations and equipment) was established for the first time in the vocational education system, which 40 students in 2 groups are expected to be admitted to the Vocational Education Center of Economic Zones Development Agency for this specialty,” – K. Baghirov said.

It was noted that within the framework of the cooperation between the Swiss university "SMBS – Swiss Montreux Business School", the dual diploma program will be used for the first time at the Vocational Education Center. At the initial stage, students studying "Technician for information communication technologies" will benefit from this program.
