"Unfortunately, the bodies of those who died in the plane crash are unrecognizable," Azerbaijan's Consul General in Aktau, Aykhan Suleymanli, said, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Kazakhstan reports.
The Consul General mentioned that an investigation is underway regarding the crash. According to him, the bodies of those whose identities have been confirmed will be sent to the Homeland: "Unfortunately, some of the bodies are unrecognizable. After the necessary medical procedures, these bodies will also be sent to Azerbaijan."
Aykhan Suleymanli emphasized that a team from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Health and the Prosecutor General's Office is currently following up with the patients in the hospital: "At the same time, DNA analysis will be required. Certain medical procedures will be carried out to investigate those who are in an unrecognizable condition."
