The autumn season will begin in Azerbaijan on September 22 at 22:19:16, the Department of Astrophysics at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University told APA.
At that moment, day and night will be equal in length, with the Sun rising directly in the east and setting in the west. The Sun will cross the celestial equator, moving from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere.
From that point, autumn will start in the Northern Hemisphere and spring in the Southern Hemisphere.
This year, the autumn season will last 89 days, 20 hours, 43 minutes, and 45 seconds.
