“Crimes committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan will not be forgotten,” Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev said in a statement to journalists, APA reports.
He noted that the draft peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia was proposed by Azerbaijan: “A trial is currently ongoing in Baku against individuals who committed crimes against humanity. Today, Armenia is conducting a meaningless propaganda campaign against this trial. Those being prosecuted in this court are held accountable before the law. Referring to them as prisoners of war (POWs) or hostages is unacceptable.”
