An employee of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) who was injured in a mine explosion on April 6 near the village of Mehdili in Jabrayil district, has been hospitalized, APA reports citing TABIB.
The victim, a male born on December 16, 1991, was taken to the Fuzuli District Central Hospital following the incident that occurred around 10:15 a.m.
According to medical authorities, he sustained a traumatic amputation of the lower left leg and foot area.
After receiving initial medical treatment, the patient was evacuated to a private medical facility in Baku for further care.
