Analytical Expertise Center of Medicines (AEC) has appealed to producers of the Biologically Active Food Supplements (BAFS) and companies dealing with the import, APA reports citing AEC.
From 2021, as a result of several studies, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has considered the use of an excipient called "Titanium dioxide (E 171)" in the biologically active food supplements dangerous for the human body.
It is important to take this information into consideration by the companies dealing with the production and import of the BAFS within the country.
