Hikmat Hajiyev: “Epidemiological condition in Azerbaijan is under control”

“People should not think quarantine regime is automatic by nature. The purpose is the security of citizens”, said today Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration at the press conference organized by Task Force under Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

According to him, as a result of necessary preventive measures, an epidemiological condition in the country is under control: “Azerbaijani citizens’ being tolerant is necessary. There will also be decisions depending on the sanitary-epidemiological conditions. Media has a great role in informing people operatively. However, they are coping with such a responsible work decently.”

H. Hajiyev noted one of the main issues is the determination of movement trajectory of people, infected with coronavirus: “Detection and testing of each of them is great to work. Doctors are also on the front line in this combat. Individual responsibility of each of us is very essential.”
