Council member: “Social support may be provided to soldiers’ families”

Some 8 areas have been determined for spending of funds of the Fund for Supporting Fight against Coronavirus, said Farhad Badalbeyli, member of the Fund’s Public Control Council at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers held today and dedicated to Fund for Supporting Fight against Coronavirus, APA reports.

F. Badalbeyli said the Fund should be engaged mostly in social aid activities: “I also proposed at the meeting to provide social aid to members of soldiers’ families. Along with doctors, soldiers are also on the frontline”.

The Council member Ziyad Samadzade noted that the discussion has been conducted with participation of the Economy minister Mikayil Jabbarov: “There are issues regarding the less developed branches of health system, the need in social aid. The analysis will be conducted, the appeals to the Fund will be considered and the necessary measures will be taken. After evaluation of the appeals, the decision will be made regarding the areas in which the funds will be spent”.
