As reported, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan applies a special sanitary regime in the country from May 1, 2020, the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MIA) told APA.
According to the MIA, it should be noted that although citizens generally follow requirements, coming from relevant measures, taken by the state, an increase of cases, which pave the way for the spread of the infection, such as non-use of medical mask in public places, non-maintenance of social distance, is observed.
”The citizens are required to wear without fail a medical mask protecting respiratory passages when leaving home, being in closed spaces, especially in public catering enterprises, in public transport, to observe 2 meters distance when communicating with other people, and in general, to strictly comply with the rules prescribed for the period of the quarantine regime,” says the Ministry.
