137 houses have been restored in Khojaly's Ballija village, about 60 houses are being restored-PHOTO

Participants of the media tour organized within the framework of the project "Following the footsteps of the President" visited the village of Ballija, APA reports.

The journalists also got acquainted with the conditions created for residents who settled in their native lands after many years.

Then, the head of the Public Relations Department of the Rehabilitation, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi, Aghdere and Khojaly regions, Afet Telmangizi, provided detailed information about the village of Ballıja: "The process of resettlement to the territories liberated from occupation continues. At the same time, restoration, reconstruction and construction works are also being carried out."

She also noted in his statement that there have already been several migration processes to the city of Khojaly and the village of Ballija in the region: "Currently, 90 families live in the village of Ballija. All kinds of infrastructure have been created here, there are jobs, a school and a kindergarten operate. 137 houses have been restored in the village, and about 60 houses are being restored. Khojaly is an area with a strategic position. The presence of an airport and a railway here turns Khojaly into a transport hub and logistics center. We are happy that we are living these days. Today we are in Khojaly. For this, we express our gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Azerbaijani Army, we bow our heads before the souls of the martyrs, and we wish the veterans a speedy recovery," added Afet Telmangizi.
