Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations meets with Dutch delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister

Baku – APA. On September 13, Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, General-Colonel Kemaleddin Heydarov met with a Dutch delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Verhagen.

APA reports quoting the website of the ministry that the Minister gave detailed information about the works carried out in management of emergency situations and activity of the organizations including into the ministry’s structure. He also noted his interest in extension of cooperation between the Emergency Ministry and relevant organizations of the Netherlands for quick preventing natural and technogenic catastrophes in the two countries and joint evaluation of consequences.

The successful development of the cooperation with the leading companies of the Netherlands, the works carried out on the management of waters in Azerbaijan and development of this sphere was also mentioned during the meeting.

In his turn, Verhagen underlined the importance of extension and development of the cooperation of responsible organizations towards the management of emergency situations between the two countries.

They also exchanged view about the issues of mutual interest.
