35677 students submitted their applications for attending examination, SSAC press service told APA.

The entrance examination is being held in Baku, Nakhcivan, Ganja, Sumgayit, Mingacevir, Shaki, Akhcabedi, Goycay, Shirvan, Salyan, Lankaran and Khacmaz cities. It starts at 11.00.

11978 students in Baku, 1390 students in Nakhcivan, 4841 students in Ganja, 2270 students in Sumgayit, 1653 students in Mingacevir, 2210 students in Shaki, 1251 Students in Akhcabedi, 2103 students in Goycay, 2256 students in Shirvan, 1346 students in Salyan, 2365 students in Lankaran, 2014 students in Khacmaz are expected to take the examination.

66 examination venues, 250 examiners, 2802 supervisor teachers were taken for the examination in these cities and regions. The applicants will take an examination on native language, Azerbaijan history and mathematics with 15 questions on each subject within one hour and 30 minutes. The applicants of the Russian sector will take an examination on Azerbaijan language along with Russian language within the native language subject block. 5 questions from Azerbaijan language and 10 questions from Russian language will be given to those students.

Note that entrances to the 47 vocational schools are held according to the 662 professional codes on 9 years (general) secondary education basis for the current academic year. 8821 places of the 10404 places belong to the Azerbaijani sector, 32 to the Russian sector, and 1551 to the professions for the competition.
