According to the State Students Admission Commission, 4686 applied for the Azerbaijani sector, 1396 – Russian, including 1198 – for the first group, 911 – 2nd, 2278 – 3rd, 695 – 4th.
The applicants can show on the online applications the vacant specialties and the codes of vocational schools vacancies. The vocational schools’ information will be published on Abiturient magazine’s fifth edition, the university information – on the eighth edition.
According to the results of placement in the Azerbaijani high schools in 2012-2013 academic year, 31994 students were enrolled to 33918 places allocated for this academic year, 94% of the admission plan was fulfilled. There are about 2000 vacant places. The specialty selection for the vacancies is conducted from August 19 to 23.
