Rules of documents admission to residency made public in Azerbaijan

The press service of State Student Admission Commission told APA that the persons (applicants) who got the basic higher medical education have the right to apply documents to residency. The entrance exam will be held at two stages. The first stage will be held on September 8, the second stage – on September 9. In order to participate in entrance exams, the applicants must submit their e-application from September 5 to 7 and to get the printed version of “Applicants exam admission form” for each exam stages.

At first stage the applicants will be tested on knowledge in different subjects, but at the second stage on the professional subjects within the entrance program in accordance with the basic higher medical education. The applicants will have 100 tests in basic and professional subjects. Right answers of the applicants make one point at the both stages. Incorrect answers don’t have any influence on the total number of points gained by the applicant.

2 hours and a half are given to the applicants for answering the exam questions at both stages.
The applicants who gained not less than 40 points in the basic subjects and 50 points in professional subjects will be admitted to specialization selection. The applicants admitted to participation in competition test can select the specialization in accordance with the base of graduated higher medical education institution and enter their codes in e-application form.

Documents admission to residency will be held from August 15 to 24. The admission will be organized via internet. The applicants should enter the series, number and Pin-code of identity card, than using their SSAC’s virtual paying card, enter the relevant website of SSAC (tqdk.gov.az/erizerezidentura) and fill the “Applicant e-application form”. Applicants can use either internet paying virtual card or 7725 SMS service. Then applicants should submit the required documents to the relevant Document Admission Commission and confirm the “Applicant e-application form”.
