Azerbaijani embassy in Germany told APA that pupil of Baku school â„–18, Sevil Damirli won the first place in Olympics on the language category. She won the fist place among 100 representatives from 50 countries, including Ju Mi Im (A language category) from Republic of Korea and Haris Poturjovic (C language category) from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Goethe Institute patronages Baku school â„–18.
The participants of the Language Olympics prepared wallpaper, organized presentation and performed question-answer games during two-week competition. The young German learners passed the first competition test in their countries in order to participate in the Olympics. The level of pupils’ language knowledge, originality and the ability to work in groups were also assessed.
