Second group applicants take university entrance examinations in Azerbaijan tomorrow

The SSAC told APA that the exams will take place in six cities of Azerbaijan â€“ 22 in Baku, 2 in Nakhchivan, 5 in Ganja, 4 in Sumgayit, 3 in Shaki and 3 in Lankaran. 166 teachers as authorities of the examination process have been involved in the examination attended by 1723 supervisors.

22867 applicants have applied for participation in the examinations in the second group of specialties. 20177 applicants are the graduates of Azerbaijani sector, 2690 of Russian sector. 14611 of the total number of applicants are men, 8256 - the girls. 14521 students are graduates of this year, 7393 students - graduates of previous years. 124 applicants citizens of foreign countries. 73 applicants are high-educated and 880 applicants are graduates of secondary specialized educational institutions. The youngest applicant was born in 1997, and the oldest applicant was born in 1955.

In Baku the exams will be attended by 17794 applicants, in Nakhchivan - 1008 applicants, in Ganja - 2692 applicants, in Sumgayit â€“ 2600 applicants, in Shaki 1385 applicants and in Lankaran 1388 applicants. The exam will begin at 11:00 and last 3 hours.
