Elnur Aslanov: â€œWe must form a creative generation that will be able to respond to new challenges through new opportunitiesâ€

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Baku hosts the Second Republic Innovative Ideas Fair of Young Scientists. APA reports that the fair, which is held by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), ANAS Youth Intellectual Development Center and Azerbaijani Young Scientist, Aspirant and Masters Society with the assistance of the Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Youth and Sports, aimed to fulfill the relevant item of the State Program â€œAzerbaijani youth in 2011-2015â€.

Executive Director of the Science Development Fund Elchin Babayev made a speech at the event and said that the government of Azerbaijan takes all measures for young people to play a role in future development of Azerbaijan: â€œNational leader Heydar Aliyev established the youth policy in Azerbaijan. Important decisions on establishment of the Science Development Fund and Youth Fund and study of young scientists abroad were passed in the country over the last years. One of main intentions of the Science Development Fund is to extend scientific results, which were achieved in Azerbaijan, to the world. Such fairs make great contributions to this work.â€

Head of political analysis and information department of the Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov said that the youth is the main force bearing Azerbaijan to future development: â€œAny economic, political social and cultural originate in science. Our main goal is to create economy and policy based on science. There are both new challenges and opportunities. We must form a creative generation that will be able to respond to new challenges through new opportunities. The steps towards youth development, solution of unemployment problem, formation of innovative way of thinking of youth in Azerbaijan were considered in â€œAzerbaijani youth in 2011-2015â€ State Programâ€.

The scientific conference of Young scientists on â€œThe new challenges: experimental and applied basis of the scientific innovative research works in modern stateâ€ will be held on July 25-27 within the frame of winner grant project over 1st contest of young scientist and specialists of Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan Republic and scientific innovative idea contest will be held between the young scientists. The young scientific and researchers will deliver scientific reports and presentations at the conference and contest.

Speeches of researchers will be evaluated by jury consisting of ANASâ€™s full and corresponding members. Valuable gifts will be presented to young researchers who will take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the scientific innovative ideas contest.
