Third group applicants take examinations for entry to universities in Azerbaijan
About 70 media representatives passed registration in the SSAC to illustrate examinational process. 30831 applicants have applied for participation in the examinations in the third group of specialties. 28151 applicants are the graduates of Azerbaijani sector, 2680 of Russian sector. 8280 of the total number of applicants are men, 22551 - the girls. 16028 students are graduates of this year, 12363 students - graduates of previous years. 183 applicants are high-educated and are going to get a second degree in the third group of specialties. 2257 applicants are graduates of secondary specialized educational institutions. The youngest applicant was born in 1997, and the oldest applicant was born in 1956.
In Baku the exams will be attended by 17797 applicants, in Nakhchivan - 2140 applicants, in Gandja - 3585 applicants, in Sumgayit – 3600 applicants, in Shaki 1846 applicants and in Lankaran 1863 applicants. The exam will begin at 11:00 and last 3 hours.
Immediately after the examination independent experts will conduct the assessment of test questions. Today at 19:00, during “Abituriyent†transmission on Space channel, senior officials and experts from SCSA will announce the correct answers of tests. Also, the correct answers of questions will be posted on website of the SSAC.
The applicants will be able to learn the results of the exams by sending their work number via SMS to 7727.
Applicants desiring to enter to specialties demanding special aptitude test and registered in the Aptitude Test Commission must take exams from July 18 till 24.
