Azerbaijan to develop Plan of Measures on prevention of illegal employment - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Public Relations Department told APA that the event was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, Ministry of Taxes and State Social Protection Fund.

Speaking at the conference, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Azerbaijan Fizuli Alakbarov said that the Ministry creates an ad hoc working group to combat illegal employment, which will include representatives of the Ministry of Taxes and other government agencies to strengthen the fight.
â€™The group will meet regularly to discuss current issues, meetings with employers. We propose to strengthen the requirements for employers to address this issueâ€™, said Alakbarov.

To him, the very figure of 1.143 million employed persons (30% of the total number of employees) is evidence of the problem of illegal employment in Azerbaijan.
â€™Perhaps, the presence of illegal employment elsewhere may support the development of the entrepreneur at an early stage, with the avoidance of tax and social benefits, but the worst is that these facts are also found in large companies and enterprises with millions of investmentâ€™, said the Minister.

According to his words, the purpose of the conference is to discuss and find a way out of this situation.
â€™We propose to solve the problem without intervention, without constant checks. We propose an approach to solving the problem of illegal employment. It should also be noted that most of the facts recorded illegal employment in the private sector, and now it is time that the private sector responded to these negative factsâ€™, said the Minister.
