Ministry of Emergency Situations sent humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 22 trucks to Krasnodar on June 8 at 21:00.
Chief of Civil Defense Troops of MES, Colonel Aslan Huseynov told journalist that humanitarian aid is sent to flood affected people in Russian’s Krasnodar city by the order of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev: “Convoy of 22 trucks of Ministry of Emergency Situations with humanitarian aid was sent to the flood affected zone. The humanitarian aid includes drinking-water, juices and other necessary food products. The vehicle convoy is accompanied by 38 rescuers of the personal staff. The humanitarian aid will reach the flood affected zone tomorrow.
171 people were killed as a result of flood in Krasnodar Krai. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev offered his condolences to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin due to the natural disaster.
