Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Azerbaijani Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev met with German ambassador to Azerbaijan Per Stankina, the ministry’s press service told APA. They discussed the cooperation in health and medicine between the two countries. Shiraliyev said Azerbaijan has model relations in health and medicine with Germany, the cooperation in pharmaceutics, medical technologies and medical education is improving. The Minister said tens of Azerbaijani students will be sent to Germany for trainings, the relations with Germany’s university clinics and medical institutions are improving.
Per Stankina spoke about the reforms carried out in health and social sphere in Azerbaijan, participation of German companies in the programs and projects in Azerbaijan. The ambassador underlined that Minister President of Baden-Württemberg Günther Oettinger visited Azerbaijan, gave proposals on cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of health and medicine.
