A regional state of emergency has been declared in Crimea and Sevastopol, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the Crimean authorities.
It was reported that a regional-level state of emergency has been declared in Crimea and Sevastopol.
The decision was mainly made to regulate economic issues.
Head of the Republic Sergey Aksyonov said that the legal status of the state of emergency allows for the fastest possible resolution of issues related to the stable operation of all sectors supporting the population's livelihoods.
It should be noted that the region has been experiencing a fuel crisis for some time. The Ukrainian side is preventing Russia from supplying fuel to Crimea and Sevastopol. All fuel supplies heading to the region are coming under attack by Ukrainian drones.
