Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that Marco Rubio's statements about the absence of an agreement in Alaska raise questions, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
He called for "clarity" regarding the United States' role in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
Note that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that there had been a proposal at the meeting held in Alaska in August last year, but no agreement had been reached.
Rubio believes that Putin and Trump failed to reach a final agreement on the settlement in Ukraine during the Anchorage meeting. He noted that the United States is ready to play a constructive role in the settlement.
