Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Russian citizens to refrain from traveling to Moldova, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The Russian Foreign Ministry issued the recommendation due to problems encountered by Russian citizens when entering Moldova.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised citizens to avoid traveling to Moldova because of difficulties faced upon entry into the country.
“At Chișinău Airport, Russians are subjected to lengthy searches and questioning, and after inspections they may be denied entry into the country without any explanation. The Moldovan side often does not allow employees of the Russian consulate to visit Russian citizens,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
