Baku. Ramil Mammadli –APA. “Some newspapers incorrectly commented on the Vice Prime Minister Ali Hasanov’s speech at the meeting of the State Anti-Drug Commission”, spokesman for the Cabinet of Ministers Akif Ali told APA. He said some newspapers commented on the Hasanov’s words that “children of the wealthy people use narcotics” in own manner. “Some people commented it as intra-government strife. It is wrong and groundless comment. The commission talked about the more important steps in the anti-drug struggle. Ali Hasanov said the families had a great role in prevention of drug problem. Indeed every parent must make efforts to protect their children from this trouble. I think it is not correct to make wrong comments on the good-will words and to show it as strife and it should be denied”.

Ali said they wouldn’t appeal the court on this case. “Some newspapers mean the officials under the phrase of “wealthy people” for some reason. But not all officials are wealthy or not all wealthy men are officials. There is a freedom of speech in the country and every person is free to express his/her thoughts. I recommend them to warmly welcome the government’s good intentions. Such cases are misleading the readers and showing that the newspaper is not independent”.
