Head of Ganja City Executive Power: “Ganja Clayey Soil Plant could restore its work after the end of the global financial crisis” – <font color=red> PHOTOSESSION </font>

Ganja. Jamsheed Bakhtiyar –APA. Ganja Executive Power held a meeting on the results of the first half of 2009. Head of the Executive Power Eldar Azizov noted that it was particular that all spheres in Azerbaijan, including Ganja City are developing while the world is struggling with the global financial crisis, APA Western bureau reports. GDP in the first half of 2009 in Ganja was 128.1 million AZN, which means 26.8% of industrial growth, 1.7% -in construction sector, 16% - in the agriculture and communication and 44.6% - in the spheres of trade and transport. Production output of the city’s industrial facilities was 33.4 million AZN. The public sector has 49.4% and private sector – 50.6% of the industrial production, which brought 8.2 million AZN incomes to the city’s budget and expenditures were 19.6 million AZN. The average monthly salary increased by 20% to 188.2 AZN. 1166 job places, including 1040 permanent jobs, have been created in the city since the beginning of the year.
Eldar Azizov underlined the Ganja Motor Plant as a leading production enterprise in the city. He said interruption of the Ganja Clayey Soil Plant’s work caused loss of 2000 job places and GDP fall, but it improved the environmental situation in the city. Azizov said the plant would restore its work after the end of the global financial crisis.
