“Gilan Holding” having always been distinguished by its sensitive attitude to social issues according to the corporative social responsibility strategy, has joined the “We are strong together!” appeal of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
Thus, the employees of the holding have revisited lonely persons at the age over 65, socially vulnerable families, including martyrs’ families and delivered them aid parcels consisting of food products in connection with the special quarantine regime applied in the framework of the measures for fight against coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The holding has provided aid to a total of 6,000 families living on the territory of Agjabedi, Agdam, Agdash, Agstafa, Agsu, Astara, Bilesuvar, Balaken, Jabrayil, Khojavend regions of the country and Khazar, Nizami, Pirallahi, Sabunchu, Sabail, Surakhani and Yasamal districts of Baku City based on the lists of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
In the framework of the aid campaign, the employees of “Gilan Holding” also informed citizens about importance of their compliance with rules of the special quarantine regime.
