The Veterans of Russia group has written to Maria Lvova-Belova, Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation, asking for singer Alla Pugacheva and her husband Maxim Galkin to be deprived of their parental rights, APA reports.
They are demanding to "protect the interests" of their children and bring them back to Russia. The document, addressed to Maria Lvova-Belova, is published by "RIA Novosti." According to the veterans, frequent relocations to Cyprus, Israel, and Latvia negatively affect their health.
"Lisa and Harry Galkin are citizens of the Russian Federation, and in our opinion, they should be raised in an environment based on traditional family values and receive education in a Russian school that meets the norms and requirements of our country.
We ask you to initiate consideration of this issue and, if necessary, take appropriate measures to protect the rights and interests of Lisa and Harry Galkin's children."
The document does not specify how the veterans plan to restore the "traditional values" environment.
Recall that after the start of the war in Ukraine, Pugacheva and Galkin left Russia and spoke out against the invasion. Galkin also expressed condolences to the Navalny family following his death.
