Baku. Ulker Gasimova-APA. 3 strongest candidates were elected from 6 to represent Azerbaijan in “Eurovision 2010” song contest. These finalists were elected by jury, Director General of the Azerbaijan Public Television-National transmission council of Azerbaijan under “Eurovision” contest, as well as member of national jury Ismayil Omerov told APA. Omerov noted that voice isn’t the main priority in Eurovision contest, one has to charm the jury with mimicry and gesture: “I consider that the professionalism of jury depends on true solution. The result was valued rightly. It is true that candidates performed weakly than their opportunities and potentials at semifinal concert. But they will show strength during preparation for contest”.

Omerov noted that jury mighty enough to select a representative in “Eurovision” format: “One cannot speak on contemporaneity, or past, if Farhad Bedelbeyli sits among jury. He knows contemporary, future, classic and estrado on high level. Former decisions showed that we were not mistaken. The professionalism and potentials of a singer is important”.
